Refund, Cancellation & Order Modification Policy

At Pure Meal Prep SD, we prepare every meal fresh to order each week. Because our meals are made specifically based on customer orders, ingredient purchasing, and production schedules, we maintain the following Refund, Cancellation & Order Modification Policy.
By placing an order with Pure Meal Prep SD, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
1. Weekly Order Deadline
To ensure accurate purchasing and production planning, all order changes must be submitted before:
Thursday at 4:00 PM Pacific Time
This includes:
- Order cancellations
- Subscription pauses
- Subscription skips
- Meal selections
- Delivery address updates
- Payment updates
- Order modifications
Requests received after this deadline may not apply until the following week’s order.
2. Subscription Cancellations
Customers may cancel their recurring subscription at any time through their online account portal or by contacting our customer support team.
To avoid being charged for the upcoming week’s order, cancellation requests must be received before Thursday at 4:00 PM Pacific Time.
Cancellations submitted after the weekly deadline will apply to future billing cycles and will not affect meals already scheduled for production.
3. Subscription Pauses & Skipped Weeks
Customers may pause or skip upcoming deliveries by:
- Logging into their online customer portal, or
- Contacting Pure Meal Prep SD directly.
Pause or skip requests must also be submitted before Thursday at 4:00 PM Pacific Time to take effect for the upcoming delivery.
4. Refund Eligibility
Orders Cancelled Before Thursday at 4:00 PM
Orders cancelled before the weekly cutoff are eligible for a full refund.
Orders Cancelled After Thursday at 4:00 PM
Orders cancelled after Thursday at 4:00 PM may be subject to a $10 administrative fee to help cover processing and production preparation costs.
Refund eligibility will be determined based on the stage of production and order processing.
Saturday Cancellations
Orders cancelled on Saturday are generally eligible for a 50% refund, as ingredients have already been purchased and meal preparation has begun.
After Production Begins
Once meals have entered production, refunds are generally not available.
Because our meals are prepared fresh specifically for each week’s orders, we cannot restock or resell prepared meals.
5. Delivery Fees
Delivery fees, where applicable, are generally non-refundable once a delivery has been dispatched.
6. Damaged Meals
If your order arrives with damaged packaging, leaking containers, or another issue that affects the quality of your meals, please contact us as soon as possible.
To help us evaluate the issue, we may request:
- Photographs of the affected meal(s)
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
Depending on the circumstances, Pure Meal Prep SD may, at its discretion:
- Replace the affected meal(s), or
- Issue account credit toward a future order.
7. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong meal or an incomplete order, please notify us promptly.
We will work with you to correct the issue, which may include:
- Delivering replacement meals when feasible
- Providing account credit
- Offering another appropriate resolution based on the circumstances
8. Food Quality Concerns
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If you experience a legitimate quality concern with one of our meals, please contact us within a reasonable time after delivery so we can review the situation.
Each concern is evaluated individually, and appropriate resolutions may include replacement meals or account credit.
9. Delivery Issues
Customers are responsible for providing accurate:
- Delivery addresses
- Apartment numbers
- Gate codes
- Entry instructions
- Contact information
If our driver is unable to complete delivery because of incorrect or incomplete information, we will attempt to contact you by phone and text message.
If delivery cannot be completed:
- Sunday deliveries may be rescheduled for Monday when feasible.
- Monday delivery issues may require customer pickup from our kitchen on Tuesday.
- If pickup is not arranged, the order may be forfeited.
Redelivery requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an additional delivery fee.
10. Delivered Orders
Once an order has been successfully delivered to the address provided by the customer, responsibility for the meals transfers to the customer.
Customers are responsible for promptly refrigerating meals after delivery.
Pure Meal Prep SD is not responsible for food quality issues resulting from meals that are left unrefrigerated after successful delivery.
11. Cooler Bags & Ice Packs
Meals are delivered in insulated cooler bags with reusable ice packs to help maintain safe temperatures during delivery.
Customers are encouraged to return these reusable materials during future deliveries.
Pure Meal Prep SD reserves the right to charge a $5 replacement fee for customers who repeatedly fail to return cooler bags and reusable ice packs.
12. Gift Cards
Gift card purchases are final.
Gift cards:
- Are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- May not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
- May not be replaced if lost or stolen unless required by law.
13. Chargebacks
If you believe a billing error has occurred, we kindly ask that you contact Pure Meal Prep SD before initiating a chargeback through your bank or credit card provider.
Our team is committed to resolving billing concerns quickly and fairly whenever possible.
Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of future ordering privileges while the matter is investigated.
14. Exceptions
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
Pure Meal Prep SD reserves the right to evaluate exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis and may provide accommodations when appropriate.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund, Cancellation & Order Modification Policy from time to time.
Any changes become effective upon posting the updated policy on our Website.
Continued use of our Website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
