Guiding Women to Healthy and Confident Bodies

New Year New Me Challenge 2026

Meet Our Week 1 Trainer: Amber

We are thrilled to introduce Amber, our first trainer for the New Year New Me Challenge! Amber is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer with 12 years of experience and a former competitive figure skater. She has dedicated her career to helping women build strong, confident bodies they love—and, importantly, bodies they can maintain long-term.

Amber’s journey into fitness and wellness began with her own health and body transformation. Through her personal experience, she became fascinated with the neuroscience behind habits, behavior change, and mindset. Amber realized that lasting results come not from forcing ourselves to follow strict routines, but from working with our brains to make healthy habits easier and more sustainable. Her personal journey evolved into a mission: to combine training, nutrition, and mindset work to empower women to achieve real results.

Her approach is unique because it’s holistic. Amber doesn’t just focus on the physical aspect of fitness—she incorporates mindset coaching, habit-building strategies, and nutrition planning to ensure her clients can succeed and sustain their results long-term. She understands that starting a new fitness or nutrition routine can feel overwhelming, especially after the holidays, and her goal is to make the process manageable, enjoyable, and empowering.

Welcome to Week 1: What to Expect

Week 1 of the New Year New Me Challenge is all about resetting your habits, understanding your body, and aligning your goals. Amber will guide you through foundational concepts to help you start the year strong. Here’s what we’ll focus on this week:

Why Holiday Fatigue Lingers and How to Reset

The holiday season is often full of late nights, indulgent meals, and disrupted routines. While it can be fun, it can also leave your energy levels low, your sleep patterns off, and your body feeling fatigued. This holiday fatigue can linger into January, making it harder to start new routines. Amber recommends gradual resets, such as returning to consistent sleep schedules, drinking plenty of water, and reintroducing daily movement. Even small changes can make a significant difference in boosting energy and clarity as you start the new year.

Understanding Hunger vs. Cravings

One of the biggest challenges after the holidays is distinguishing true hunger from cravings. True hunger is your body signaling that it needs fuel, while cravings are often emotional, stress-related, or tied to habits from holiday indulgences. Amber encourages participants to pause and check in with their bodies before eating, asking: “Am I truly hungry, or am I seeking comfort or stimulation?” This awareness helps prevent overeating and supports mindful, balanced choices.

Portion Control Refresh

Even healthy foods can hinder progress if portions are out of balance. After holiday feasts, it’s important to refresh your understanding of portion sizes. Amber suggests using visual cues—like filling half your plate with vegetables and dividing protein and carbs appropriately—to regain control without creating unnecessary stress. Pairing these strategies with Pure Meal Prep’s pre-portioned meals makes it even easier to stay consistent.

Listening to Your Body

Learning to listen to your body is key to maintaining energy and balance. This includes recognizing fullness cues, energy dips, and the early signs of cravings. Amber teaches participants to slow down, check in during meals, and notice how different foods and portions affect their energy throughout the day. By tuning into these signals, you can make informed decisions that keep your body nourished and aligned with your goals.

Amber’s 3-Step Process to Get Centered & Align Goals

Amber’s guidance for Week 1 includes her 3-step process to simplify healthy habits:

1. Stop trying to do everything at once.

Pick non-negotiable daily movement and routines that you can realistically follow.

2. Set realistic goals that fit your life right now.

Don’t aim for a version of yourself with unlimited motivation—focus on what is achievable today.

3. Make life easier wherever possible.

Reduce decision fatigue and save time—having meals planned and ready to go is a simple, effective way to stay consistent.
